When I took the necklace out of the package to try on, one of the metal links that hold the stones together broke immediately. It was all in one piece when I removed it, and then as I was holding it, one of the metal clasps (right next to one of the eyes) fell apart and the stone fell out so the necklace was in two pieces. Managed to use some pliers to clamp it all back together, but couldn't get the stone back in. I bought two other chains and those are holding up strong. You get what you pay for, so I'm not mad -- the necklace still looks pretty good and has held together so far. Other buyers, be aware!
